“Sister Mary Thaddea Kelly (1917-1990) saw many changes in the Church and religious life, even attending the Second Vatican Council. This month’s Presentation Roots reveals a few photos that illustrate her interesting journey.

It is a coincidence that she is the subject of this month’s archives highlight; although she had a lengthy career as an educator and administrator, she was also the Vicar for Religious in the Archdiocese of San Francisco from 1978 into the 1980s – the position that incoming congregation president Rosina Conrotto has filled for the last 13 years. Sister Rosina retired June 28 as she assumes the responsibilities of her new role.
