Sister Euphemia, 103, died on January 17, 2023, three weeks after her Sister Kieran. We will celebrate Sister Euphemia's life with a Funeral Mass on Friday, January 27, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Presentation Motherhouse, 2340 Turk Boulevard, San Francisco.
Sister Virginia King, formerly known as Sister Mary Austin, died in San Francisco on December 27, 2022. A vigil was held Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral Mass was celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 19. Both were held at the Presentation Motherhouse, 2340 Turk Boulevard, San Francisco.

Sister Mary Kieran O’Connor, PBVM (baptismal name Frances Bridget) entered eternal life on December 28, 2022 in San Francisco. A native of San Francisco, Sister Kieran was born on December 18, 1921, and was a Sister of the Presentation for 83 years, having entered in 1939. Her funeral will be January 12, 2023.
By the light of a star and a lantern, 45 people living on the streets of the Tenderloin in San Francisco received a blank to combat these bitterly cold nights. Donations are still being accepted.
