This year Presentation Sisters and Associates around the world are celebrating the 300th anniversary of the birth of Nano Nagle, a woman of deep faith, incredible vision, and indefatigable courage. She was a woman who had a special love for those made poor, for those who were marginalized and uncared for. She expressed that love by inviting 50 homeless people to dinner on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1775 the date her congregation was born in Cork, Ireland.

Inspired by the event and to commemorate her birth, this Christmas Eve, December 24, 2018, we will host the Christmas Eve dinner served at St. Anthony’s Dining Room in San Francisco. It is anticipated that more than 3,000 guests will be served that day and in addition to providing a turkey dinner with all the trimmings, Sisters and Associates will be the waitpersons serving the meal.

We would love your help! Write a guest Christmas card/greeting. We would like to place one at each table setting. Please send the envelope with the card(s) to 2340 Turk Boulevard, San Francisco, CA 94118-4340 (marked Christmas Eve dinner). We are also collecting good quality socks for men, women, and children. They can be dropped off at our Mother House (2340 Turk Boulevard) at the front door Tuesdays through Saturdays from 9:00am to 3:00pm during the month of December. We are grateful to each of you!
